IWW presents the 2022 Distinguished Writers Series from 18 October to 19 October 2022.
Simon Armitage, Poet Laureate of the United Kingdom and winner of the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry, is our featured writer for IWW’s 2022 Distinguished Writers Series. He will meet Hong Kong audiences via Zoom for a Literary Reading & Conversation and a Masterclass! Please save the dates and stay tuned for his events.
2022 IWW Literary Festival will be hosted from 17 to 20 March with the theme “Writing and Well-being”. The Festival will feature six international Writers-in-Residence who will explore the various ways that writing can foster personal growth, encourage mindfulness, and increase emotional well-being.
The International Writers’ Workshop at HKBU is delighted to host these six talented writers as our IWW Writers-in-Residence in 2022! Four writers were selected from a highly competitive pool of more than 100 applicants, and we are excited to include two Honorary Writers-in Residence from the UK. The writers joining us are:
